Dental Care for Sleep

CPAP Masks

For many years this was the typical treatment for Sleep Apnoea. The masks are often uncomfortable, not just for the person wearing it, but also for the partner they are sleeping next to.

They are also cumbersome if you need to travel, can often leak and can be expensive to maintain. Patients often find this treatment intrusive and hard to adapt too.

The compliance rate for sustained use sits around only 50 per cent, which is significantly lower than the 80 per cent that mouth guards achieve in comparison.
